04/12/2003: Strange PCSoft US newsgroup politics

 English Windev Forum messages are copied to PCSoft's newsgroup (pcsoft.us.windev),
but since november 2003, only the questions and not the answers anymore, so it looks a
little strange and i don't know what's the use of it like this.
See for a different (and more professional) approach the way Softvelocity (Clarion) does it.

08/06/2003: English Forum on newsgroup PcSoft

 Since the beginning of june, messages from the English Windev Forum on Parsimony
are also copied or transmitted to the PcSoft newsgroup pcsoft.us.windev
In this way, it seems that PcSoft wants to bring some live in their 'pcsoft.us.' NG's.
Wondering what they are going to do with the more critical and/or not so technical postings.

08/03/2003 : The Beaussier saga continued ...

Cyril Beaussier created a new site Centre W..D.. where you can find his API examples etc.
The site Beaussier.com is there in a different way but it is not clear what he is going to do with it.

The sites from CB closed are :

- WindeZ, le site critique

French WinDev criticism site, not really "anti" but with some more or less funny bugs,
some examples of 'strange' PCSoft politics like 1_pc_for_1_euro and some nasty
reactions of our beloved editor to criticism (OK, it was 2 years ago)

- 10 times what?

An other kind of logo, develop 10 times faster or what ...

- Extreme Windev
- Windez.ifrance

25/02/2003 [The Beaussier case ...]

After a phone call from PcSoft, I decided to change my site again ...
I did not change my mind, i still do not see any major reason to suit
Cyril Beaussier (CB) , but it is clear that PcSoft really
thinks that CB wants to harm their company (with his other sites) and
that they have the right to defend themselves.

I still do not understand, but they have to do what they have to do ...

PcSoft, does not want to give a public statement (yet ?)
and after reading the 'assignation' on beaussier.com/pb I can imagine ...

The accusations seems, at first view and i'm not a lawyer,
to be very thin, but I do not know the French laws.

But it is a good thing that a software supplier (PcSoft)
is eager enough (I don't care about the reason) to stay in contact with
a customer like me and try to explain their point of view.

And it is a good and democratic thing that CB put the 'assignation'
on the net, so everybody who is interested, can made up his mind ...

Bonjour, Hello ... because of the closing down of the site(s) from
Cyril beaussier.com what seems to be an action of PcSoft,
the editor of WinDev, I express here my doubts about the
fairness, morality, health, commercial thinking ... of PcSoft
and start to think insanity, foolishness, absolute misunderstanding
of what is going on ..., start to reign in their HQ ...

I think they are a bad hasard to their own product, a good product by the way,
but with their 'responsable' staff (PDG etc) with some 'grey mass'
not completely working as it should.

I am not following the protest actions from RB or the site forums.wdscript
to close down their site, but I like to express my absolute disagree with the politics of
the creator of my favourite software tool.

At least, I think, they should explain ... and not only post some (FC(?)) anonymous
crap on the Windev Forum.
